Reviews
Here’s what users have said about the Downtown Grand:
The hotel room was clean, fresh and we’ll maintained.
Our stay at Downtown Grand was fast, efficient, and enjoyable. The self-parking and check-in process were smooth, with friendly and knowledgeable hotel staff. Our room, along with the bathroom, was consistently clean and fresh. The pool deck provided a great spot for relaxation and reading, while my husband enjoyed the $1 Blackjack and the delicious French toast at Freedom Beat. The hotel’s location was perfect, just half a block from Freemont and within easy walking distance of numerous eateries. Overall, it was a great stay, although a mini fridge would have been a nice addition.
A Lil’ Luv?
We had a nice room with a pool view, but had to pay an additional $20 per night. Unfortunately, the dogs next door started barking around 11 pm, and despite our complaint, they continued to bark at 2 am and 5 am. We had to switch rooms, and when I asked if they could waive the extra charge, they declined. Overall, the experience was mixed due to the noise issue and lack of accommodation regarding the fee.
Would Stay Here Again
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is convenient, just a block away from Fremont Street. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, the casino could improve its game selection by offering more low-volatile reel machines. The video poker selection was good though. The pool was beautifully laid out, but it would have been better if there were seats at the bar. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.
