Downtown Vegas Hotels With Pools

Not all hotel pools are created equal–especially downtown. In this guide, I’ll share all of the Downtown Vegas hotels with pools and point you to the ones that are worth your time and what ones you should skip.

Whether you want to lounge by the pool all day, slide through a shark tank, or dance into the night, there’s a Downtown Vegas pool for you.

Best Downtown Vegas Hotels With Pools

1. Circa

If you’re on the hunt for a downtown Vegas hotel with a pool that offers more than just a place to cool off, Stadium Swim at Circa Las Vegas should be at the top of your list. Open late into the night and heated year-round, this pool experience is a game-changer in the world of Downtown Vegas pools.

Stadium Swim boasts a casino pit and bar. The DJ keeps the energy high, but the real showstopper here is the giant screen showcasing all the sports action. Stadium Swim provides an unparalleled pool experience.

One drawback is the lack of shade unless you rent a cabana. As someone who’s visited Stadium Swim at Circa multiple times, both as a hotel guest and a visitor, I can vouch for the fact that a cabana rental can make a world of difference.

Whether I was celebrating my 30th birthday in the winter or watching the Vegas Golden Knights clinch the Stanley Cup from the comfort of the pool, the cabanas provided a much-needed respite from the sun.

Stadium Swim is a standout among downtown Vegas hotel pools. Trust me, a dip at Stadium Swim is an experience you don’t want to miss!

If you’re on the hunt for a Downtown Vegas hotel with pools that offer more than just a place to cool down, make sure to check out the Golden Nugget. This iconic hotel is home to The Tank, an incredible pool complex that features a waterslide running right through a shark tank

If that doesn’t get your heart pumping, perhaps the lively vibe at The Hideout, the hotel’s adults-only (21+) pool, will do the trick. Unlike some pool areas in Vegas, the Golden Nugget offers plenty of shade throughout, making it a comfortable retreat even on the hottest of days.

The Shark Tank Pool at the Golden Nugget is one of the best Downtown Vegas hotel pools.

The slide through the shark tank operates on limited hours, meaning you might have to plan your day around it. The pool can become quite crowded and the pool closes during the off-season.

Although I haven’t personally taken a dip in the Golden Nugget’s pools, friends who have stayed at the hotel have raved about their experiences. The Golden Nugget remains a standout among Downtown Vegas hotel pools.

3. Downtown Grand

Downtown Grand

Rated 4.0 out of 5

206 N 3rd St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

The Downtown Grand stands out with an abundance of lounge chairs and seating options, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of downtown. The hotel is known for its lively pool parties and live music events that take place throughout the year, making it a hot spot for those looking for fun and entertainment.

The Downtown Grand has its share of mirages. While the atmosphere is vibrant and full of life, the pool itself is quite small and there is limited shade available, which could be a drawback for those looking to escape the Nevada heat.

Some of the furniture around the pool area could use a refresh. The cabana rates are very reasonable, adding to the overall value of your stay.

4. Plaza

Rated 4.0 out of 5

1 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

The Plaza is a destination that should be on your radar. The rooftop pool features breathtaking views of Downtown Vegas. This elevated oasis is more than just a place to cool off — it’s a social hub with a wonderful little bar and a pulsating party vibe.

The atmosphere at the Plaza’s pool is always buzzing, making it an exciting option for those looking to dive into the vibrant Vegas scene. However, the pool itself is quite small. The prices for food and drinks are significantly higher than what you would find on the casino floor, and shade is virtually non-existent.

From my personal experience of staying at the Plaza during the Life Is Beautiful Festival, these factors didn’t detract from the overall experience. Being able to relax by the rooftop pool before heading to the festival was a definite plus.

Yes, the drink prices were high, but they were within the expected range for a Vegas pool and the atmosphere, enhanced by a DJ, was thoroughly enjoyable. This post aims to give future visitors a real-life perspective of what it’s like to stay at a Downtown Vegas hotel with a pool.

5. Binion’s Hotel Apache

Rated 2.0 out of 5

128 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

Binion’s Hotel Apache offers a rooftop pool experience that overlooks the dazzling Las Vegas skyline.  If you’re a guest at the Four Queens Hotel, you have the privilege of using this cool oasis.

Whether you’re escaping the desert heat or simply want to unwind after a day of sightseeing, Binion’s rooftop pool is an option you’ll want to consider when looking at downtown Vegas hotel pools.

While the rooftop pool at Binion’s Hotel Apache indeed offers a great view, it’s significantly smaller than most pools in Downtown Vegas. It’s been known to close without notice, which can be an inconvenience if you’ve planned your day around a swim.

As someone who has stayed at the Four Queens and had access to Binion’s pool, I can attest to these downsides. Although I personally didn’t swim in the pool, I did venture up to see the view – which, in my opinion, far outshine the pool itself. Don’t get me wrong, the pool is adequate, but it’s the panoramic city views that steal the show.

Despite its size, Binion’s Hotel Apache’s rooftop pool offers a unique way to experience downtown Vegas, especially for those who value location and views over the size of the pool.

6. The D Casino & Hotel

The D

Rated 3.7 out of 5

301 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

The D has a modest pool located on the ground level, but here’s where things get interesting: as a guest of The D, you’re given two complimentary passes to the Stadium Swim at Circa. This gives you access to the most exciting pool in Downtown Vegas, making The D an attractive option for those seeking a downtown Vegas hotel with pool access.

Now, while I haven’t personally experienced The D’s pool, I can vouch for the Stadium Swim at Circa. So, if you’re willing to overlook the smaller pool at The D in favor of the exciting Stadium Swim experience, then this downtown Vegas hotel could be a great choice for your stay.

7. California Hotel

California Hotel

Rated 3.0 out of 5

12 E Ogden Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

The California Hotel offers a blend of comfort and convenience that’s perfect for travelers wanting to experience the heart of Las Vegas. If you’re a guest at Main Street Station you have access to The Cal’s pool.

Before you pack your swimsuit, it’s worth noting that The Cal’s pool isn’t as impressive as one might hope. The pool is relatively small and according to reviews, it’s underwhelming.

Although I haven’t personally stayed at The Cal, I’ve heard from multiple sources that the pool is pretty average. It’s nothing special, but it does provide a spot to cool off in the summer heat. While it might not be the most luxurious or spacious pool in downtown Vegas, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for a straightforward, no-frills place to take a dip.

8. Oasis at Gold Spike

Oasis at Gold Spike

Rated 0.0 out of 5

217 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

Oasis at Gold Spike is more than just a place to lay your head. It’s a vibrant, dynamic destination complete with a small but inviting pool. The pool is relatively small and doesn’t offer any extravagant features. But having frequented Gold Spike many times in the past, I can tell you that what it lacks in poolside luxury, it makes up for with its lively atmosphere and fun activities.

Gold Spike caters to a younger crowd and offers a wealth of games and activities to keep you entertained. While I’ve never stayed at their Oasis hotel, I’ve always found the pool area to be well-maintained and inviting.

If you’re seeking pools in downtown Vegas that are part of a fun, energetic venue, Oasis at Gold Spike could be a great fit. If a huge pool isn’t your top priority, but being in Downtown Vegas is, then this could be the perfect place for your next visit.

9. The ENGLiSH Hotel

The ENGLiSH Hotel

Rated 0.0 out of 5

921 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Book Room

If your ideal vacation involves booking a Downtown Vegas hotel with a pool in a vibrant neighborhood, The ENGLiSH Hotel might just be the perfect fit. Nestled in the heart of the Arts District, one of my favorite parts of town, is teeming with fantastic breweries, bars, and restaurants.

However, there are a few things to keep in mind about The ENGLiSH Hotel. For starters, their pool is a standard hotel pool. If you’re seeking a pool with a waterslide or swim-up bar, you will be disappointed. While the Arts District location is great for some, it may not be ideal for those who plan to spend most of their time at the casinos.

Although I haven’t personally visited The ENGLiSH Hotel, this review is based on research and feedback from trusted sources. This hotel remains a solid choice among Downtown Vegas hotel pools, especially if you value location and local culture over pool amenities.
