What are the best tacos on the Las Vegas Strip?
There are a lot of great Mexican restaurants, cantinas, and taco shops on The Strip. If you’re hungry right now, my list is divided into three sections so you can find the best tacos near you.
North Strip: Spring Mountain Road to Sahara Avenue
Tacos El Gordo
If you’re looking for some of the best tacos in Las Vegas, look no further than Tacos El Gordo. With four locations all over the city, the prime spot is just north of Wynn and Encore across the street from Resorts World on the north end of The Strip at 3041 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
They offer a variety of meats, including carne asada, chorizo, and beef brains, so there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget the salsas – they have some of the best in town!
El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show Mall
One of my favorite spots on The Strip for tacos (and margaritas) is El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show Mall. Here you can sit back, enjoy views of The Strip, and slow down while sipping an ice-cold margarita or Corona.
Plus, they have great food–including delicious tacos. You can choose from different tacos like Mahi Mahi, steak, chicken, braised pork, or vegetable tacos.
The restaurant offers open-air dining, indoor seating, an outdoor patio, and a bar overlooking The Strip. I love coming here for a late lunch, grabbing a couple of happy hour beers, and enjoying the sights of Las Vegas. A plate of tacos will cost you about $20.

3. Casa Playa at Wynn Las Vegas
If you’re looking for an upscale taco experience, look no further than Casa Playa at Wynn Las Vegas. Its small menu features some incredible items, including two tacos you must try.
Wagyu Carne Asada Tacos. Do you need wagyu on your tacos? Probably not. But when you can get wagyu on your tacos, why not? The other choice you need in your life is the Baja Fried Fish Tacos.
Pair these amazing options with a mezcal or tequila flight and enjoy one of the fanciest fiestas in Las Vegas. Casa Playa is perfect for a meal before a show at the Encore Theater or a night at XS Nightclub.

Cañonita at Venetian
In addition to the sit-down restaurant, Canonita features a food truck for to-go orders. Which is great if you need some tacos on the fly. You should anticipate spending $15-$25 depending on the number of tacos you order.

Tacos El Pastor
In 2019, there was some serious taco drama where Tacos El Gordo had to leave its original home on The Strip to a new location a few hundred feet away. Tacos El Pastor moved in and has been offering incredible tacos since.
Call it bias. I still prefer Tacos El Gordo. But if you love tacos, start your Las Vegas taco crawl at Tacos El Pastor. If you want a similar style to Tacos El Gordo but don’t want to wait in line, go to Tacos El Pastor at 3049 Las Vegas Boulevard S Las Vegas, NV 89109. You’ll spend about $10 on a plate of tacos.
Center Strip: Harmon Avenue to Spring Mountain Road

China Poblano at Cosmopolitan
China Poblano at The Cosmopolitan is the place to go when your party can’t decide what to eat. The restaurant offers up Mexican and Chinese dishes paying homage to both cultures.
I guarantee it’s the only restaurant on this list where you can order a Carnitas Taco and Dim Sum at the same time. The warm and inviting atmosphere is met with great service. While not a traditional Mexican restaurant, it offers a one-of-a-kind experience on The Strip.
Open for lunch, dinner, and takeout China Poblano is one of the more unique options on our list for best tacos. A plate of tacos will set you back around $20.

Tacotarian is a plant-based Mexican eatery with three locations in Las Vegas including one downtown on Casino Center Boulevard. This place has a ton of taco options that are all plant-based with gluten-free options available.
You’ll be able to enjoy all kinds of meat-free tacos from Mushroom Asada to Plantain Con Mole to vegetarian takes on classics like barbacoa, al pastor, and chorizo. I personally don’t seek out vegetarian options, but this place makes some mean tacos if you or someone in your party needs a vegetarian option. A platter of tacos will cost you about $12.
