Best Tacos on the Las Vegas Strip
There are a lot of great Mexican restaurants, cantinas, and taco shops on The Strip. If you’re hungry right now, my list is divided into three sections so you can find the best tacos near you.
Spring Mountain Road to Sahara Avenue
1. Tacos El Gordo
If you’re looking for some of the best tacos in Las Vegas, look no further than Tacos El Gordo. With four locations all over the city, the prime spot is just north of Wynn and Encore across the street from Resorts World on the north end of The Strip at 3041 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
They offer a variety of meats, including carne asada, chorizo, and beef brains, so there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget the salsas – they have some of the best in town!
2. El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show Mall
One of my favorite spots on The Strip for tacos (and margaritas) is El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show Mall. Here you can sit back, enjoy views of The Strip, and slow down while sipping an ice-cold margarita or Corona.
Plus, they have great food–including delicious tacos. You can choose from different tacos like Mahi Mahi, steak, chicken, braised pork, or vegetable tacos.
The restaurant offers open-air dining, indoor seating, an outdoor patio, and a bar overlooking The Strip. I love coming here for a late lunch, grabbing a couple of happy hour beers, and enjoying the sights of Las Vegas. A plate of tacos will cost you about $20.
3. Casa Playa at Wynn Las Vegas
Wagyu Carne Asada Tacos. Do you need wagyu on your tacos? Probably not. But when you can get wagyu on your tacos, why not? The other choice you need in your life is the Baja Fried Fish Tacos.
Pair these amazing options with a mezcal or tequila flight and enjoy one of the fanciest fiestas in Las Vegas. Casa Playa is perfect for a meal before a show at the Encore Theater or a night at XS Nightclub.
4. Cañonita at Venetian
In addition to the sit-down restaurant, Canonita features a food truck for to-go orders. Which is great if you need some tacos on the fly. You should anticipate spending $15-$25 depending on the number of tacos you order.
5. Tacos El Pastor
In 2019, there was some serious taco drama where Tacos El Gordo had to leave its original home on The Strip to a new location a few hundred feet away. Tacos El Pastor moved in and has been offering incredible tacos since.
Call it bias. I still prefer Tacos El Gordo. But if you love tacos, start your Las Vegas taco crawl at Tacos El Pastor. If you want a similar style to Tacos El Gordo but don’t want to wait in line, go to Tacos El Pastor at 3049 Las Vegas Boulevard S Las Vegas, NV 89109. You’ll spend about $10 on a plate of tacos.
Harmon Avenue to Spring Mountain Road
1. Javier’s at Aria
Javier’s is an upscale Mexican restaurant at Aria. Javier’s is the perfect place to escape for an evening with its authentic dishes and drinks, quaint candlelit atmosphere. You will feel like you’ve been transported straight out of Mexico!
Javier’s has a wide range of Mexican cuisine, with a couple of great taco options including shrimp, beef, carnitas, and grilled chicken. Tacos at Javier’s will cost you a pretty penny as it’s the most expensive restaurant on this list. You should expect to spend at least $30 on tacos.
2. China Poblano at Cosmopolitan
I guarantee it’s the only restaurant on this list where you can order a Carnitas Taco and Dim Sum at the same time. The warm and inviting atmosphere is met with great service. While not a traditional Mexican restaurant, it offers a one-of-a-kind experience on The Strip.
Open for lunch, dinner, and takeout China Poblano is one of the more unique options on our list for best tacos. A plate of tacos will set you back around $20.
3. Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood
Cabo Wabo offers tacos with the best views, located outside of Planet Hollywood. The restaurant offers signature margaritas and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine with an outdoor patio that includes views of some other amazing landmarks like Bellagio Fountains, Eiffel Tower – not to mention endless people watching!
While Cabo Wabo does not have the best tacos on this list, it certainly has the best views. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Cabo Wabo is a great stop near the middle of The Strip for anyone who wants a good time while they enjoy some tacos. A plate of tacos will set you back about $15-$20.
4. Yolos Mexican Grill at Planet Hollywood
The menu at Yolos has a wide range of Mexican cuisine. It’s an eclectic spot with fresh fruit margaritas that will delight your taste buds! You’ll find all the tacos you need including chicken, steak, fish, pork, and shrimp. A place of tacos at Yolos will set you back about $20.

3. Gonzalez Y Gonzalez at New York New York
Gonzalez y Gonzalez at New York New York Resort & Casino is the perfect spot to enjoy some south-of-the-border tacos and tequila. With one of las Vegas’ largest tequila menus, you’re sure not going thirsty or bored here!
Though limited to fish, chicken, or carne asada tacos, Gonzalez y Gonzalez is a party pleaser with a large menu of Mexican favorites, burgers, and more. A plate of tacos will cost you about $20 here.
Best Tacos Downtown Las Vegas
From Fremont Street to the Arts District, here are the best tacos in Downtown Las Vegas.
1. Tacos & Miches

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Downtown Las Vegas is La Comida tucked back on 100 S 6th Street near El Cortez. If you’re attending Life Is Beautiful, this is a must-stop cantina.
La Comida has a great menu of Mexican cuisine and their tacos are bomb! I normally order the Al Pastor or Carne Asada myself. A plate of tacos will cost you $15 or so. Pair it up with an awesome Paloma or Margarita and you’ll have an incredible fiesta!
3. Cadillac Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar at Golden Nugget
You’ll never want to leave the party at Cadillac. Share tapas or try one of their signature dishes like tacos al carbon. You can get an 80-oz beer tower for your group as well as any favorite margaritas from an extensive list of tequila and mezcals. Here a plate of tacos will cost you about $15, but you’ll want to try everything on the menu.
4. Casa Don Juan
Casa Don Juan is a Mexican restaurant that offers great food and has some interesting taco options. I typically visit their location in the Arts District on Main Street, but they have three locations in Las Vegas.
Casa Don Juan offers a full menu of Mexican favorites with some great taco options including al pastor, lengua, asada, shrimp, fish, and more! I love visiting this restaurant because they have all types of food to satisfy your appetite – whether you’re looking for something spicy or sweet; light & fresh, Casa Don Juan has it.
A plate of tacos will cost you $15-$20 here depending on the meat you’re looking for, but if you find yourself near the Arts District, Casa Don Juan is a great option!
Tacotarian is a plant-based Mexican eatery with three locations in Las Vegas including one downtown on Casino Center Boulevard. This place has a ton of taco options that are all plant-based with gluten-free options available.
You’ll be able to enjoy all kinds of meat-free tacos from Mushroom Asada to Plantain Con Mole to vegetarian takes on classics like barbacoa, al pastor, and chorizo. I personally don’t seek out vegetarian options, but this place makes some mean tacos if you or someone in your party needs a vegetarian option. A platter of tacos will cost you about $12.
