Here’s what users have said about the The Angry Butcher Steakhouse:
On 10/20/23, I visited this place and was impressed. The short ribs were incredibly tender, only needing a fork to enjoy. The service was exceptional as they took the time to explain everything since it was our first visit. Additionally, they treated us to a sample of their sweet potatoes, which were absolutely amazing. As someone from North Carolina, I consider myself a connoisseur of sweet potatoes. The pork chops were delicious, but the spinach that accompanied them was outstanding—I almost wanted to lick the plate! Though the mac-n-cheese wasn’t my top choice, it still made for a tasty side dish. Coming from the South, I appreciate flavors in a unique way. Overall, I would give this experience a perfect 10 out of 10.
The steak was cooked to perfection as requested, although it needed additional salt which was easily resolved. There were a few crab shells in the “Oscar” toppings, which was a bit off-putting but didn’t impact the overall quality of the meal. The service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded. The only challenge was locating the restaurant within Sam’s Town.
We had an amazing time at this hidden gem. The parking was convenient and free, and as we walked through the hotel, it gave us a nostalgic feeling of old school Vegas. The restaurant was tucked away in a cool atrium area, and the interior decor was modern and impressive. Our server, Kori, was exceptional, despite being on her second shift. She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent recommendations. We started with the delicious complimentary bread, as well as the Crab & Lobster cakes (which had no fillers) and the flavorful Cleaver salad – all of which were fantastic. For the main course, we savored the Double Cut Pork Chop and Braised Short Ribs, which were both outstanding. The sides were equally delicious. Although we were too full for dessert, we couldn’t resist ending the meal with a satisfying Cappuccino. Overall, it was an exceptional experience, and we have added this place to our top 3 favorites for special occasions.
