Silverton is a budget resort conveniently situated just a 15-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Despite its affordable price range, it offers decent hotel quality and amenities. Currently closed for renovation, Silverton boasts a range of dining options, including Mi Casa Grill Cantina for mouth-watering Mexican cuisine, Su Casa Sushi for fresh sushi rolls, and WuHu Noodle for scrumptious Asian dishes.

Thirsty guests can enjoy creative cocktails and a laid-back atmosphere at bars like Flare Bar, Mermaid Lounge, or Shady Grove Bar & Lounge. The main attraction at Silverton is the Aquarium Mermaid Show, providing a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. While the nightlife is not as vibrant as The Strip, Silverton’s Veil Pavilion still offers live performances and events. With its affordable rates and enjoyable atmosphere, Silverton Las Vegas is a great choice for a pleasant stay away from the hustle and bustle of The Strip.

I ordered the short rib, which was good but a bit too salty or lacking that wow factor. The mashed potatoes underneath were runny, and I questioned if they were even mashed potatoes. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the well-seasoned spinach between the short ribs, although I wish the entire dish had the same impact. The portion sizes were quite generous, and the prices were reasonable, especially considering it’s in Vegas. However, the dining experience was a bit odd. Initially, I felt unwelcome and neglected by the main waitress, who seemed to favor my younger sister over me. The other waiters and waitresses, on the other hand, were attentive and hospitable. Perhaps the main waitress had personal problems or other distractions. Despite this, I would still return by myself and recommend the place.

We celebrated a family member’s birthday dinner at Twin Creeks, and it exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is nestled in the stunning surroundings, and despite being located within Silverton, you won’t be bothered by any noise or distractions from the gaming area. Every dish we tasted was exceptional, and there wasn’t a single person at the table who didn’t enjoy the meal.

The presentation was nice and the service was attentive. The salad was not exceptional, but the dressing was very good. The bacon wrapped dates were delicious with a creamy and flavorful blue cheese sauce. The tempura shrimp was delicately fried and not rubbery. The pork belly was tender, although there were a few burned pieces. The marinated cauliflower didn’t have much of a taste. The bread selection was amazing. The scallops were tender, although they were bordering on being undercooked. Overall, there wasn’t a standout dish that blew me away. The staff was friendly, quick, and professional, even though we were using points and coupons, which seemed to bother our server.
