Here’s what users have said about the McCall’s Heartland Grill:
McCall’s Heartland Grill falls short in terms of food quality and service. The dishes were consistently cold, with raw broccoli that was practically inedible. Despite a warning from my wife, her meal also arrived cold. The only saving grace was the strawberry shortcake, which my daughter enjoyed. However, considering the reheated food quality and diner-like prices, this establishment does not live up to expectations. The waiter failed to rectify the situation
McCall’s Heartland Grill is a Southern BBQ-style restaurant with a varied seafood menu. The rolls were a standout, and the appetizers, including shrimp, calamari, burnt ends, and artichoke dip, were shared and enjoyed. The main course consisted of a delicious 20oz porterhouse steak accompanied by a variety of sides. While the food was good, it is challenging to rival the taste of Southern cuisine in its place of origin. The service was excellent, although the dim lighting inside may not suit everyone’s taste.
At McCall’s Heartland Grill, the experience was a bit hit and miss. While some of the food was enjoyable, such as the well-seasoned and cooked ribeye, there were some drawbacks. The prime rib served to one of my family members had excessive fat, and the overall wait time for the food was quite long. Despite these shortcomings, the rest of the dishes were fairly good.
