Things We Like

Staying at Delano is a truly luxurious experience. From the moment you enter the separate entrance and check-in area, you know you are in for something special. The rooms are nothing less than spectacular with all the amenities one could ever need. I especially appreciate having access to all of Mandalay Bay’s amenities as well as exclusive Delano amenities. With so many different activities to choose from, I never get bored during my stay.

The restaurants and bars at Delano are top-notch as well. Whether I am looking for a light snack or a fine dining experience, I know that there’s something nearby that will satisfy my cravings. The staff is always friendly and helpful when it comes to finding the right spot for me and my guests.

Delano isn’t just about having a great place to sleep; there’s plenty of activities and entertainment. From Cirque du Soleil to concerts and sports, there’s something for everyone. They provide an unforgettable experience. Their attention to detail ensures that all guests have everything they need for an enjoyable stay in Vegas – from incredible suites to unique entertainment options!

Things We Don’t Like

Well, first of all, Delano is an awesome place to stay in Las Vegas! There is so much to do and see. But there are a few factors I should mention that could impact your stay. At Delano, the prices on weekends can get a bit high so you want to keep that in mind when making your plans. I should also mention, while you have access to everything at Mandalay Bay, it’s a short 5-minute walk.

Secondly, it’s on the south end of The Strip, meaning you’re not as close to some of the popular casinos and attractions. If you want to really experience everything Vegas has to offer you will need to walk or grab a ride share. But don’t let this deter you from exploring all the cool stuff the south area of The Strip has to offer! There’s a free tram that connects Mandalay Bay to Luxor and Excalibur so you can quickly explore the casinos like New York New York and MGM Grand.

All in all though, I don’t think Delano can be beat – and I guarantee you won’t regret staying here!

Who should stay at Delano Las Vegas?

At Delano, you get the feeling that luxury is key! If you’re looking for amazing hotel amenities and don’t mind splurging on a suite, this is the perfect place for you. It’s particularly ideal if you’re attending an event at Allegiant Stadium, since it’s the closest hotel. It’s also an ideal place for a couple getaway in Las Vegas.

If you’re not able to book a casino hotel due to business restrictions, Delano is great too–it’s right beside Mandalay Bay so you get all the casino amenities but without booking a gambling hotel.

If however, your main goal is to explore The Strip amidst then Delano might not be for you, choosing a more centralized location on The Strip would suit your experience better. Furthermore, if traveling with children, Delano may be more suitable for adults than families with kids.

We Recommend:

  • If you want a luxury suite with great hotel amenities, it’s hard to beat Delano.
  • If you’re traveling for business and you’re not allowed to book a casino hotel, but you still want the amenities of a casino, Delano is technically a separate non-gaming hotel attached to Mandalay Bay.
  • If you’re going to a Raiders game or event at Allegiant Stadium, Delano is the closest hotel.
  • It’s perfect for a couples getaway in Las Vegas.

We Don’t Recommend:

  • Delano is located at the south end of The Strip, if you have wanderlust and want to explore Las Vegas, there are better options like Vdara.
  • If you are on a budget, Delano may be outside your budget (especially on weekends). You may want to consider staying at Mandalay Bay instead.
  • If you’re traveling with kids, Delano isn’t a good choice, I’d recommend Tahiti Village.

Compare Hotels

While Mandalay Bay might be a bit more budget-friendly than Delano, both hotels are amazing! Delano guests enjoy the same great amenities, but in an elegant, non-gaming setting – perfect for a quiet night in. Delano is the perfect place to get away from it all and really enjoy a luxurious vacation. It offers many of the same amenities as Bellagio and Aria, but in a more intimate setting, so you can really relax and be pampered without feeling overwhelmed. Wanting to explore The Strip? Then either Aria or Bellagio are probably a better fit with their central location.

Delano and Aria have many of the same luxury amenities, but Aria is located in the center of The Strip and Delano is at the end. So if you want to explore Las Vegas, choose Aria.
