  4. Bellagio
  5. Wynn Las Vegas
  6. The Venetian
  7. Mandalay Bay
  8. Resorts World

1. Cosmopolitan

The Best Hotel In Las Vegas & The Strip

Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Room Rates: $99-$499 (see available rooms)

Best for: Guests who want the best views of Las Vegas

Overview: Opium, Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, two pool decks including one overlooking The Strip, great restaurants, lounges and bars, live entertainment, shops

Pros
  • The Cosmopolitan is the best hotel in Las Vegas.
  • It’s located near the center of The Strip.
  • Excellent rooms and suites with balconies overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard.
Cons
  • Peak season prices can get unreasonably expensive compared to other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.

The centrally-located Cosmopolitan truly has something for everyone. In fact, it’s often touted as the best hotel in Las Vegas. The rooms are modern and chic, including unique rooms and suites with balconies overlooking fountains and The Strip.

Cosmo has a wide variety of dining options, from fine dining to casual eats, making it awesome for a big group or an intimate dinner for two. They’ve also got great bars, including the tequila and mezcal lounge Ghost Donkey and the throwback joint The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails.

You won’t be short of entertainment options, either! See concerts at The Chelsea or see a fast, funny (and definitely adult-only) show at Opium. The Cosmopolitan offers tremendous rooms with great views of The Strip. The resort offers great pools, dining, and activities.

2. Caesars Palace

The Best Location In Las Vegas

Caesars Palace Las Vegas
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Room Rates: $69-$349 (see available rooms)

Best for: People who want all the action of The Strip

Overview: Absinthe, Garden of The Gods Pool Oasis, Omnia Nightclub, The Forum Shops, The Colosseum, lots of great restaurants, bars, and lounges

Pros
  • Caesars Palace has the best location on The Strip.
  • It’s close to popular attractions, casinos, and restaurants.
Cons
  • On the weekends the resort is overcrowded.
  • Everything is expensive.

If you pick a hotel based on location, Caesars Palace is your place. Located smack down in the middle of The Strip, you’ll have easy access to all the big attractions in Sin City. I can’t talk about Caesar’s without mentioning their huge 7-part pool, the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. Also, check out the over 160 stores making up The Forum Shops!

You can also see some of the great shows in Vegas at The Colosseum and Absinthe, the best show in Las Vegas (it definitely lives up to the concept of “only in Vegas”)! The shows, bars, and reasonable price points make it an excellent option for bachelor parties.

Caesars Palace is definitely one of the best hotels on the Vegas Strip! Caesars Palace is a good place to stay for those who want easy access to all the big attractions on The Strip.

Aria is another luxury Vegas hotel with an enticing set of amenities. One of the most stand-out parts of Aria is their full-service spa, perfect for a quiet retreat. When you’re ready to bring the energy back up, the Aria houses the JEWEL Nightclub and Aria Casino.

With this quality comes a bit higher of a price point and many dining options to satisfy your cravings, including the French-inspired Bardot Brasserie and Mexican cuisine at Javier’s.Aria’s luxurious rooms, great food options, and upscale atmosphere are great for a nightlife-loving couple looking for relaxation.

4. Bellagio

The Best Location In Las Vegas

Bellagio Fountains
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: Bellagio

Room Rates: $109-$479 (see available rooms)

Best for: People visiting The Strip for the first time

Overview: Bellagio Fountains, Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, O by Cirque du Soleil, The Mayfair Supper Club, A-list restaurants, bars, and lounges.

Pros
  • Bellagio is one of the most iconic hotels in Las Vegas because of its fountain show.
  • The luxury resort offers everything from Cirque du Soleil, dining, and amenities like the Bellagio Conservatory.
Cons
  • Bellagio is an older building with a higher price.

You probably know about their stunning fountains soaring outside. Still, Bellagio has much more to it than just the gorgeous entrance! At Bellagio, you can look forward to an array of dining experiences, the convenience of a central location on The Strip, and great amenities.

Some entertainment you’ll enjoy is “O” by Cirque du Soleil, the best Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas, and the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. With its unbeatable location comes a bit higher price, of course. However, the elegant Italian-inspired design and countless amenities won’t disappoint—it’s an older building but still among the best hotels on Vegas Strip.

The Bellagio is a must-go for Vegas first-timers! From the iconic fountains to Cirque du Soleil, the Bellagio is a world-class destination on The Strip.

5. Wynn Las Vegas

The Best Service On The Strip

Wynn Las Vegas Review: The Premier Destination on The Strip
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: Wynn Las Vegas

Room Rates: $129-$499 (see available rooms)

Best for: Guests who want an elevated service experience on The Strip

Overview: Encore Beach Club, XS Nightclub, live entertainment at Encore Theater, 5-star restaurants, bars, lounges, shops

Pros
  • Wynn offers the best service on The Strip.
  • Lots of amenities, such as pools, restaurants, clubbing, and more.
Cons
  • The resort is on the north end of The Strip.
  • Prices can skyrocket during peak season.

You won’t find better all-around service than at Wynn, located on the north end of The Strip. They have so much to offer, so you definitely won’t be bored.

Here are a few things to look forward to: they have a three-pool setup, a newly renovated spa, and globally-inspired restaurants (including Wing Lei, the first Chinese restaurant to get a Michelin star in North America).

Additionally, the sportsbook is simply the best on The Strip. With 1,600 square feet of LED screens, you can watch all the games you want and visit the betting stations while you’re at it. Enjoy some of the most top-tier rooms in Vegas at Wynn & Encore!

Wynn Las Vegas offer the best service on The Strip and are located north of Las Vegas Boulevard. Here you’ll find outstanding dining, clubbing, and entertainment. Prices can skyrocket during peak season.

6. The Venetian

The Best Amenities On The Strip

The Venetian Las Vegas Review
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: The Venetian

Room Rates: $119-$399 (see available rooms)

Best for: Travelers who want a little bit of everything in their Vegas experience

Overview: Tao Nightclub, Atomic Saloon ShowGrand Canal Shops with gondola rides, live entertainment at Venetian Theater, expansive restaurant collection, bars, and lounges

Pros
  • The Venetian is a bustling place with lots to do.
  • The Grand Canal Shops have lots of great restaurants and bars.
  • Free parking.
Cons
  • The prices can get pretty steep during peak season.
  • It’s on the north end of The Strip (about a 20-minute walk from the center).

The Venetian creates a bustling Italian atmosphere on the north end of The Strip. Honestly, there’s so much to do within the place that you’ll have to divide your time between it all.

Some of the favorites are the extremely popular Atomic Saloon Show and The Grand Canal Shoppes. Additionally, there are so many good eats at The Venetian, including tons of different upscale and casual restaurants and bars to pick from. Also, the rooms are huge—definitely more spacious than many other hotels.

The Venetian is a central hub of activity near the north end of The Strip with many different activities for tourists. From fine dining to live entertainment, The Venetian has something for everyone.

Read our review of The Venetian for more details.

7. Mandalay Bay

The Best Pool On The Strip

Mandalay Bay Las Vegas Review: Your Perfect Vacation Destination
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: Mandalay Bay

Room Rates: $99-$399 (see available rooms)

Best for: Visitors who want to do a lot of activities

Overview: Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil, Mandalay Bay Beach, Foundation Room, Skyfall Lounge Daylight Beach Club, Shark Reef Aquarium, live events, restaurants, bars, spa, shops

Pros
  • Mandalay Bay has something for everyone on The Strip.
  • Whether you’re looking to kick back with some fine dining, enjoy live entertainment in one of their dayclubs or go clubbing all night long–Mandalay bay has it covered!
Cons
  • The south end of The Strip has some drawbacks.
  • When it’s busy, prices can soar, and the pool gets very crowded.

Mandalay Bay is the first family-friendly hotel to make the list. It’s home to a ton of entertainment and food options. Of course, the 1.6 million-gallon wave pool and lazy river right outside are a major highlight! While it’s not the most centrally located hotel (it’s on the south end of The Strip), its shows will keep you entertained, including Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil.

Plus, it’s the closest hotel to Allegiant Stadium if you want to check out a Las Vegas Raiders game or other live events. It’s definitely one of the best hotels on the Vegas Strip, especially for families with kids.

Whether you’re chilling with a drink on the sandy Mandalay Bay Beach or enjoying a perfect wine-paired meal at Aureole, you’ll find something to love here. Mandalay Bay is a great hotel for families with both entertainment and food options. Mandalay Bay Beach features a big wave pool and lazy river.

8. Resorts World

The Newest Resort On The Strip

Resorts World Las Vegas Review
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: Resorts World Las Vegas

Room Rates: $99-$399 (see available rooms)

Best for: Visitors who want the newest resort on The Strip

Overview: Ayu Dayclub, Zouk Nightclub, Resorts World Theatre, an extensive collection of restaurants, bars, lounges, spa, and shops.

Pros
  • It’s the newest resort on The Strip.
  • The property offers many amenities and things to do on-site.
Cons
  • It’s isolated on the north end of The Strip.
  • Everything is expensive.
  • The resort is still finding its identity.

Resorts World is the hotel for you if you’re looking for a good party—day or night! Zouk Nightclub, the Ayu Dayclub, and A-list entertainment from Carrie Underwood to Katy Perry. It is the newest hotel in Vegas. Additionally, Resorts World has tons of great bars, over 40 restaurants, and a luxury pool.

It’s still honing in on top-Vegas level service, but it’s still one of the best hotels on the Vegas Strip. However, you’ll have to open your wallets a bit for this one. The location is isolated on the north end of The Strip next to Circus Circus. You can still enjoy sparkling views of The Strip from your room.

Resorts World is a new resort located on the north end of The Strip offering a lot of amenities including many restaurants and entertainment.

Read our Resorts World review for more details.

9. MGM Grand

An Iconic Property With Great Amenities

MGM Grand Las Vegas Review: There’s Something For Everyone
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: MGM Grand Las Vegas

Room Rates: $69-$349 (see available rooms)

Best for: Visitors who want a diverse selection of amenities

Overview: KÀ by Cirque du Soleil, JabbawockeezDavid CopperfieldBrad Garrett’s Comedy ClubMGM Grand Garden Arena, Hakkasan Nightclub, Wet Republic, Top Golf, restaurants and bars, large pool, spa, and shops

Pros
  • MGM Grand is beaming with great shows, live entertainment, and dining.
  • It’s one of the busiest properties on The Strip, with countless activities to choose from.
Cons
  • The iconic MGM Grand is a busy destination that can lead to high prices during peak season.
  • The resort has seen better days; it’s starting to show its age.

MGM Grand is one of the best hotels on The Strip in Vegas and definitely a very popular one! The location isn’t perfect, but it has amazing entertainment to make up for it, including Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club, Jabbawockeez, KÀ by Cirque du Soleil, and David Copperfield.

It also houses MGM Grand Garden Area, hosting major tours and sporting events. Fair warning, though, some things can run a bit high price-wise. MGM Grand is a popular hotel in Las Vegas, offering many different show and entertainment options.

10. Waldorf Astoria

The Best Hotel In The Middle of The Strip

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Review: Exquisite Luxury on The Strip
Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip: Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Room Rates: $149/$449 (see available rooms)

Best for: Travelers who want the nicest rooms and best service on The Strip

Overview: Spa & Salon, Zen Kitchen, Tea Lounge, Skybar, luxury pool, and fitness center

Pros
  • Great location near Aria and Cosmopolitan with 5-star luxury rooms and service.
Cons
  • It’s very expensive and has limited on-site amenities.

Last but not least, the Waldorf Astoria encompasses all things luxury, making it perfect for couples. Of course, with this atmosphere comes a hefty price tag. You won’t find a room at this non-gaming hotel for less than $200. You can enjoy fine dining at Skybar and Zen Kitchen.

However, you’ll have to venture out to another venue nearby for entertainment, as Waldorf Astoria doesn’t have any in-house. This list of the ten best hotels on the Vegas Strip wouldn’t be complete without Waldorf Astoria! The Waldorf Astoria is one of the best luxury hotels on The Strip. The hotel is top of its class but lacks amenities.

Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip

As a Las Vegas local and frequent visitor of The Strip, I’ve come to learn a few things about what makes a hotel great and what makes it not so great.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Cosmopolitan.

If you’re looking for a luxurious resort on the Las Vegas Strip, The Cosmopolitan should be your top pick.

From the amazing rooms and suites to the world-class casino and restaurants, this resort has it all.
