I recently had the chance to visit the Encore Theater in Las Vegas and I was absolutely blown away. The theater is located between Encore and Wynn Las Vegas, and it exudes luxury from every inch. The stage is gorgeous and the seating is extremely comfortable. Best of all, the theater hosts a wide variety of artists, from world-class musicians to the best comics in the industry.

What To Expect At Encore Theater

So you’re going to a show at Encore Theater! Whether you’re seeing your favorite musician or comedian perform, or you’re checking out a new artist, you’re in for a treat. Encore Theater is one of the most luxurious theaters in Las Vegas, and it hosts some of the best performers in the world. Here’s what you need to know before you go.

Seating

When you walk into Encore Theater, you’ll be blown away by the luxury. The theater is stunning, and it has a capacity of 1,500 people. No matter where your seat is, you’ll have a great view of the stage. The sound system is top-notch, so you’ll be able to hear every word clearly.

I sat in the center of the second row of the balcony the other day for a show. I had an interesting experience. From my seat, it felt like the theater was really small. I looked around and saw that it wasn’t a bad view by any means, but it wasn’t comfortable. I had to look down at an awkward angle the entire show, which I didn’t think would bother me as much as it did. If I was seeing a band or musician, I don’t think I would have noticed this as much.

I ended up going out to use the restroom (which was downstairs) and sat in a different chair while the show was ending. I realized that the view up higher was actually better. You won’t find a bad view downstairs, but like most venues you’ll start to have some obstruction on the far edges of the theater. All in all, it was an interesting experience that taught me a lot about concert venues.

Food & Drink

I recently went to see comedian Demetri Martin at Encore Theater. The show was hilarious, but I couldn’t help but notice how overpriced the drinks were. We ordered two large cocktails and a popcorn, and the total came to $77. The prices here are outrageous. Granted, the drinks and popcorn were both really good. But still, the price gouging is off the charts.

You’ll want to budget at least $14-$32 for a drink and $10 for popcorn – though they do offer a selection of canned beers, wine, cocktails, and gourmet popcorn. If you’re looking for something more substantial, there are plenty of food options available at both the Encore and Wynn Las Vegas–I’d recommend checking out Casa Playa for a pre-show meal.

Parking

Encore Theater is located between Encore and Wynn Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. If you’re driving, self-parking is free. However, they do charge for valet parking. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft so you don’t have to worry about parking at all.

Recap

The Encore Theater is definitely a place you’ll want to check out if you’re looking for an amazing show while you’re in Las Vegas. It’s luxurious atmosphere and top-notch performers make it a gem in the heart of Sin City.
