With reasonable prices, delicious food and drinks, and a fun atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. • Some entrees and drinks are a little pricey
  • It can get quite busy, which slows down service

El Segundo Sol is one of my favorite places to eat on the north end of The Strip. They have a delicious menu of fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, and other Mexican staples. I always start with the bottomless chips and salsa, which are delicious. The chicken taquitos are one of my favorite appetizers.

For my entree, I usually order fajitas, tacos, or enchiladas. The margaritas at the bar are always perfect. During Loco Hour, they’re very reasonably priced. Overall, I highly recommend El Segundo Sol if you’re looking for a great Mexican meal.

How expensive is El Segundo Sol?

El Segundo Sol is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. It will set you back about $25-$35 per person, depending on what you’re ordering and if you’re having a margarita.

The weekday Loco Hour is one of the best in town. You can get tacos, quesadillas, margaritas, and beers for $8 or less. If my wife and I go during Loco Hour, we normally get a couple of tacos, chips and salsa, and a handful of margaritas for about $40.

If it’s not happy hour, we normally split a fajita or entree and get a couple of beers for about $50. Either way, it’s a great value for some of the best Mexican food in town.

Where is El Segundo Sol?

El Segundo Sol is a great spot for Mexican food if you’re in the Fashion Show Mall area. I definitely recommend sitting outside on the patio – it’s right on The Strip overlooking Wynn Las Vegas so you people watch as you eat.

If you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite before heading to Mystere by Cirque du Soleil, I’d recommend El Segundo Sol. If you’re not in the mood for Mexican food, I’d go next door to Strip Burger or RA Sushi Bar, both are delicious spots. After your meal, unwind while continuing to take in The Strip at Davidoff Cigar Bar.

What is the atmosphere at El Segundo Sol like?

El Segundo Sol has an indoor-outdoor layout that makes it perfect for both a night out and a casual lunch. The inside is decorated with rustic Mexican signs and trinkets, giving it a really cool atmosphere. There are TV’s at the main bar, and the music is mostly lowkey, making it perfect for catching up with friends.

Outside, there’s a large patio area with its own bar (where they do happy hour). From here you can overlook The Strip and watch people walk by. In the summer they have misters to keep you cool, making it a great shady environment for outdoor dining in Las Vegas. Whether you’re looking for a place to drink or a place to eat, El Segundo Sol is definitely worth checking out.
