How we chose the best comedy shows in Las Vegas

I go to a lot of comedy shows in Las Vegas. From resident comics like Carrot Top to touring acts at various comedy clubs, I go to as many shows as I can.

To create this list, I focused on things that matter most when I go to a comedy show: does it make the audience laugh? Some clubs book better talent than others.

So it was important to me to add shows that the audience was enjoying.

Additional factors I considered were ticket prices, drink prices, and location. I then ordered the list accordingly to create my list of the 9 best comedy shows in Las Vegas.

1. Carrot Top at Luxor

Carrot Top’s show at Luxor is the best comedy shows in Las Vegas, it’s a spectacle that will keep you laughing from start to finish.

Known as the “King of Props”, Carrot Top’s humor is inventive, tapping into pop culture references with his trunk full of hilarious contraptions.

His stand-up act is an experience that transcends the typical comedy show, making it a must-see for anyone seeking a hearty laugh in Vegas.

At the Luxor Hotel and Casino, Carrot Top delivers an award-winning performance that draws fans from far and wide.

His stand-up comedy in Las Vegas is not just about jokes and gags; it’s a one-man circus filled with creativity and energy.

The red-haired comedian has been headlining at the Luxor since 2005, and his longevity speaks volumes about his talent and the consistent quality of his shows.

The atmosphere, the props, and the man himself combine to create an unforgettable night out.

You’ll leave the show with sore sides from laughter, and memories that will last long after your trip to Vegas is over.

In my opinion, Carrot Top’s show at Luxor is the epitome of what Las Vegas stand-up comedy should be.

2. Comedy Cellar at Rio Las Vegas

Among the best comedy shows in Las Vegas, the Comedy Cellar at Rio is one I’d recommend.

This club has an inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a night of laughter. The raw, unfiltered humor from a variety of stand-up comedians keeps you engaged and entertained throughout the show.

It’s not just about the jokes, but the way they’re delivered that makes this place special.

The Comedy Cellar at Rio won’t break your bank either. You can enjoy an evening of stand-up comedy in Vegas for less than $30 a ticket.

However, keep in mind that the drinks here are on the pricier side. While this might be a slight drawback for some, I believe that the quality of the performances more than makes up for it.

Don’t forget, though, that the Comedy Cellar at Rio is off-Strip.

You will need to catch a cab if you’re staying on The Strip, but trust me, the extra effort is worth it for one of the best comedy clubs in Vegas.
