Circa Review

Rating: 4.5/5

Room Rates: $99-$379 (view available rooms)

Best: Overall, Downtown, Pools, Sportsbooks, Couples

Overview: Circa Hotel & Casino is the newest in Downtown Las Vegas. It’s an adults-only (21+) resort that has everything you need for an excellent Vegas vacation. Stadium Swim is awesome, the sportsbook is unmatched, and it’s home to great restaurants. It’s the most expensive property downtown, but still cheaper than The Strip. My biggest gripe is that parking is way overpriced.

Pros

  • Stadium Swim: Circa has the best pool in Downtown Las Vegas. It’s part dayclub, part sportsbook, and simply one of the coolest spots in town.
  • Sportsbook: The sportsbook at Circa is the best in Las Vegas, bar-none. It’s the most exciting sports atmosphere outside of a stadium.
  • Restaurants & Bars: The collection of restaurants and bars at Circa is top-notch. From 8 East to Saginaw’s to Legacy Club, you’ll be craving the food on your flight home.
  • Adults-Only: Circa started a trend in Las Vegas as the first adults-only property. You must be 21 to go inside Circa. We like that a lot!

Cons

  • No Entertainment: Circa’s focus is sports. They currently do not have any shows or live entertainment outside of special viewing parties for major sporting events.
  • Parking: One of the biggest frustrations with Circa is the cost of parking. Most downtown hotels offer parking validation or affordable rates–not Circa!

My Experience At Circa Las Vegas

I go downtown a lot. I love gambling in the casinos on Fremont Street and watching the free live bands. Before I ever head home, I always find myself at Circa Las Vegas.

Whether I’m watching a game in the giant sportsbook or chilling at Stadium Swim, Circa has provided me countless nights of entertainment and fun.

I love gambling at the Overhang Bar, partially because I hit a Royal Flush there, but mostly because the bartenders are friendly and pour great drinks.

My wife and I like visiting Legacy Club for a couple cocktails with the best view of Las Vegas. I love the brisket fried rice and dumplings at 8 East. And as a west coast kid, having a sandwich at Saginaw’s is a treat.

I haven’t stayed at the Circa hotel yet. When I do, I’ll update this review with my hotel experience. But I have been over a hundred times and l love spending my time there.

In this review, I’ll go in-depth on Circa’s offerings and help you decide if it’s the right hotel for your Las Vegas Trip.

A Quick Tour of Circa

Circa is a 21+ hotel resort that is perfect for adults looking for a luxury getaway in Downtown Las Vegas. It’s perfect for sports fans with its massive sportsbook. It’s great for couples and groups who want to gamble, drink, and have an upbeat time.

Hotel

As I mentioned above, I haven’t stayed at the Circa Hotel yet. Guests can enjoy 34 floors of cozy rooms and luxurious suites. From romantic sunset nooks to massive hospitality suites, there are plenty of ways to relax and get comfortable at this resort.

Double King Room

At Circa, you can book a Strip-quality room or suite for as low as $99/night plus a resort fee.

Circa offers three types of standard rooms come with different amenities and features: Single KingDouble King, and Flex King.

Corner Studio

These rooms have comfortable mattresses that provide a good night’s sleep after an exhausting day in the city, plus mini-fridges to store snacks or drinks, walk-in showers, and views of Las Vegas!

Whether you’re ready to relax or keep the party going, Circa has a suite for every occasion. There are five types of standard suites and five premium suites.

Panoramic Sunset Suite

The standard suites include the Circa SuiteEnd SuiteStudioCorner Studio, and Bunk Pad. Most of the suites are double the typical room size, and the suites feature additional amenities like a wet bar, dining table, convertible couches, and multiple TVs.

The Bunk Pad is for larger groups with two sets of bunk beds. The premium suites are a step above. The Founder’s Suite has a living room, dining table, bar area, and Strip view. The Panoramic Sunset & Sunrise Suites have a king bed, living room, wet bar, dining table, and convertible couch overlooking Las Vegas.

Bunk Suite

The Bunk Suite has four bunk beds, panoramic city view, bar, living room, and dining table. The Hospitality Suite is for high rollers and guests, and it’s a massive space with a banquet table, couches, and panoramic views.

The old-school Vegas charm of Circa provides you with all the modern amenities that make life worth living. Guests have access to Stadium Swim, a fitness center, concierge services, in-room massage services, and more. Both hotel guests and visitors have to pay for parking.

Stadium Swim at Circa

Stadium Swim

Stadium Swim is one of the best pools in Las Vegas. It has six pools, two hot tubs, multiple bars, over 300 chaise lounge chairs, 30 cabanas, and nearly 40 day beds. Don’t forget the 143-foot wide screen with all the games. The best part–it’s open 365 days a year.

The pool deck also features a casino pit with blackjack, roulette, sports betting kiosks, and more.

If you’re not a hotel guest at Circa, you can pay $20-$40 admission or rent a daybed with a reasonable food and beverage minimum. If you’re staying at The D or Golden Gate, you will receive two passes included with your stay.

What I like about Stadium Swim the most is that a group of friends can all be entertained. If you want to watch the game, dance to the DJ, or just lounge in the sun, the pool offers different experiences for everyone.

The new pool is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail at one of its swim-up bars, take an Instagram-worthy selfie in front of their colorful murals, or lounge in your own private cabana.

Food & Drink

Circa offers some of the best restaurants and bars in Downtown Las Vegas. From fine dining to Pan Asian to east coast delights, there’s a delicious meal for everyone at Circa.

Restaurants

Barry’s Downtown Prime

Barry’s Prime Steakhouse has the perfect atmosphere for those who want to experience old-school charm with a modern twist. With fresh table-side presentations and creative cocktails, this restaurant oozes style from every inch of its walls.

8 East is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Whether my friends are in town or its date night, I head to 8 East to order some brisket fried rice, pork dumplings, and bok choy.

Your taste buds will be dancing. I like to order a whiskey flight or an Asian beer to pair with my meal. 8 East is a little pricey, but its certainly worth it!

Saginaw’s Delicatessen

I’m not from the east coast, and I didn’t learn what a sandwich was until I had Saginaw’s Delicatessen. These mind-blowing sandwiches are worth every single penny. Grab yourself an old-world pickle and a tower of onion rings at three in the morning. You’ll experience Las Vegas like never before.

They serve sandwiches so big that they’ll take up your whole plate! Some popular choices are the famous Reuben sandwich with corned beef and Swiss cheese on rye bread and matzo ball soup for those who want something more traditional.

Victory Burger & Wings Co. overlooks Circa Sportsbooks and feels like a fast-casual sports bar. Here you can satisfy your hunger with delicious burgers and fried chicken. It’s the ultimate sports restaurant with mouthwatering specialty burgers, wings, and appetizers, including the half-pound burger complete with its toppings and a fantastic draft beer lineup.

Project BBQ on Fremont Street

Project BBQ is the a permanent food truck on the Fremont Street Experience where you can enjoy your fill of Carolina barbecue. The “backyard” atmosphere will make you feel like a king as you feast on fresh smoked BBQ from their signature Garbage Bowl – handmade potato chips smothered in meat and sauces!

Jack Pots is a great coffee shop with some serious Vegas flair! I love their cold brew coffee. Everything I’ve had from Jack Pots has been delicious. They also sell an assortment of breakfast items and to-go bites.

Bars

The Legacy Club is the premiere cocktail lounge in all of Las Vegas. This club has everything you need for a night out with friends with breathtaking panoramic views.

The elegant and timeless atmosphere features indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy day or night. Order yourself an old-fashioned or martini for the perfect nightcap or before you head out on the town.

Vegas Vickies

Vegas Vickie’s is an elegantly retro bar located just off the lobby with a welcoming atmosphere and mouthwatering drink list. Slip into one of their inviting crushed velvet chairs and enjoy your favorite cocktail or two while sitting under the watchful neon eye of Vickie herself.

Mega Bar

Mega Bar is where the party starts. The bar is 165-feet long, serving over 120 beers from 24 brands with all your favorite cocktails, wines, and cigars. It’s a great spot to meet up with friends, watch a game, or gamble.

Located on the casino’s second floor overlooking all that’s happening in the sportsbook, Overhang Bar ensures you always have a cold drink within arm’s reach and never miss any games. The bar is one of my favorite video poker bars downtown and it’s where I recently hit a progressive royal flush for over $1,100.

Stop by Circa Bar at the Fremont Street Experience to enjoy a beverage at the 118-foot long outdoor bar. Take in the downtown energy and watch as our group of dancers serve up your frozen cocktail, made with one of 24 different flavors!

Casino

The first floor of the Circa Casino.

The vibe is electric and intoxicating—the casino pulses with life as the music blare from speakers. Circa has got you covered with various games to choose from over 1,350 slot and video poker machines, 55 table games, on 2-stories.

If you’re looking for a place to play the classics, Circa has what you need. They have all of your favorite table games, such as blackjack and roulette. And if that isn’t enough, make sure to check out the stadium-style electronic gaming tables!

The world largest’s sportsbook at Circa.
Circa Sportsbook

The best sportsbook in Las Vegas is at Circa. With a 3-story design, you can watch your teams on a state-of-the-art screen from every angle while still getting that old Vegas hospitality.

Circa Sportsbook offers betting stations and two betting desks on the first and second stories. With a 1,000-person viewing capacity, there’s plenty of room to cheer on your favorite team and cash your tickets.

Conclusion

Circa Hotel Las Vegas is my favorite place in Downtown Las Vegas. It has everything I need – great rooms, restaurants, a pool, and a sportsbook that caters to all my needs.

Plus, it’s adults-only, so I can let loose without worrying about kids running around. The only downside is the parking fees, but that’s a small price for such a fantastic experience.

If you’re looking for a downtown hotel with plenty of amenities and options, I would recommend staying at Circa.
