How we chose the best Vegas pizza

Let’s be honest, the best Vegas pizza is the style you like, cooked the way you want, and with your favorite toppings.

I’m not here to debate whether pineapple belongs on pizza (but the answer is yes).

I’m not a picky pizza guy. I will try any type of pizza once. When I set out to make this list I used my personal experience, taste, and preferences as the guide.

I chose an assortment of locations that are easy for any tourist to get to, whether you’re on The Strip, Downtown, or staying somewhere else.

I chose a variety of price points, from cheap slices for $5-$6 to expensive pies that cost over $40.

Finally, I took into consideration the ratings and reviews of each pizzeria. Customer feedback helps me fill in the gaps where my bias takes over.

FAQ

Secret Pizza is “hidden” on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan, making it a fun and slightly elusive destination for pizza lovers like us. Finding it is part of the adventure – there are no signs leading to it, so you have to know where to look.

Start by heading to the third floor of The Cosmopolitan. Once there, look for a hallway adorned with album covers; that’s your clue. Follow this hallway all the way to the end, and voila! You’ve found Secret Pizza, a New York-style pizzeria right in the heart of Las Vegas.

Spoiler alert: If you still can’t find it, it’s between Jaleo and Blue Ribbon.

There are over 300 pizzerias in Las Vegas ranging in styles, quality, and price. With so many options, it’s no surprise that we can find everything from New York-style slices to gourmet Italian pies.

Some of the top-rated ones include Pizza Rock, Evel Pie, and Secret Pizza, each with its own unique appeal.

The Bottom Line

For my money, Evel Pie is the place to go. However, if you’re not planning on going downtown during your visit, I’d recommend Pizza Cake by Buddy V. or Secret Pizza.
