Downtown Grand Las Vegas Review & Hotel Guide

Downtown Grand

Downtown Grand Las Vegas is a great hotel to stay at while in Downtown Las Vegas.

  • $1 Blackjack
  • Rooftop Pool
  • Quieter than hotels on Fremont Street

  • It lacks Vegas energy

Downtown Grand is a great property in Downtown Las Vegas. The hotel offers guests an awesome rooftop pool, nightly comedy at Delirious Comedy Club, and good restaurants to enjoy.

The Downtown Grand has three hotel towers, including the brand new Gallery Tower that opened in 2020. Home to over 1,400 hotel rooms, Downtown Grand, is one of the largest hotels downtown.

The Casino Tower and Grand Tower offer hotel guests six different rooms, including deluxe, premium, and dog-friendly studio rooms, plus 1-bedroom suites. These rooms are older than the Gallery Tower but offer the comforts of home on 3rd Street in downtown Las Vegas.

The newest hotel tower opened in 2020 with 495 rooms and suites. The tower offers studio rooms, 1-bedroom suites, and penthouses. The modern rooms and suites offer a touch of luxury that can be hard to find in downtown. The only downtown property with newer rooms is at Circa Resort & Casino.

All hotel guests will gain access to the rooftop pool, fitness center and get free wifi. In-room hotel amenities include a TV with cable, complimentary water bottles, and toiletries.

The Citrus Grand Pool Deck is the ultimate party space for soaking up rays, sipping sangria, and enjoying games. The rooftop pool deck features a luxury pool with an infinity edge that overlooks Downtown Las Vegas as well as private cabanas to relax in when you need a break from all the fun.

The pool is free for hotel guests and is open 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM during pool season. Non-hotel guests can also go to the pool with a cabana or table booking.

Downtown Grand offers various restaurants inside the casino and on 3rd Street between the Casino and Grand Towers.

Inside the resort is Freedom Beat, made to be both a dining destination and an intimate, state-of-the-art performance venue.

Freedom Beat dishes up tasty, all-American sandwiches, salads, and entrees inspired by regional recipes from across the country.

Pizza Rock is the place to go for all your pizza needs! This restaurant offers an impressive pizza menu and slices, an extensive beer list, and hand-crafted artisan cocktails along with a variety of entrees like Kobe beef burgers.

Triple George Grill is the perfect spot for a night out on the town. Whether you’re looking to have some drinks with friends, celebrate an anniversary or birthday in style, or grab a nice dinner.

Dine-in at the bar for decadent appetizers and martini’s, or enjoy a private booth with an indulgent steak.

Sidebar embodies the best of cocktails from yesterday and today. With a welcoming bar that is open to everyone, they offer up everything from house craft drinks with twists to modern libations you can enjoy any time.

Furnace is one of our favorite video poker bars downtown. The casino cocktail bar offers free drinks for gamblers and affordable snacks like wings, burgers, and fried cheese curds to satisfy all your late-night cravings.

Start your day right with hand-crafted coffee beverages and a continental breakfast at Art Bar.

Downtown Grand offers live entertainment at Freedom Beat and the Citrus Pool. The property is also home to the Delirious Comedy Club.
