MGM Grand is a top destination in Las Vegas. MGM Grand has a large variety of restaurants, bars, live entertainment, and things to do.

MGM Grand is one of the largest and most famous hotels in Las Vegas. With so much to offer, MGM Grand is one of the best Vegas hotels for its incredible list of amenities and activities. My MGM Grand review will give an in-depth look at this massive property! Whether you’re looking for gambling, shows, fine dining, or something else, there’s something for everyone at MGM Grand.

The MGM Grand is one of those hotels in Las Vegas where you never have to leave the property for food or entertainment. The hotel offers incredible on-site amenities, restaurants, bars, and shows.

MGM Grand is located on the south end of The Strip, right next to Tropicana, Excalibur, and New York New York. Rooms start at $69/night during the weekdays and off-season, but during the peak season, a room can cost over $349/night!

I have not stayed at MGM Grand, but it’s a resort I frequently visit for shows or to visit with friends from out of town. As a local, I don’t often find myself at MGM Grand for various reasons.

From the standpoint of a hotel guest, MGM Grand has everything you would want! Live shows, great bars, a fun casino experience, and lots of restaurants to choose from. Plus, if you’re into clubbing, they have a great nightclub and dayclub.

My favorite things at MGM Grand are Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club, Top Golf, and Losers Bar.

Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club is one of the best venues for comedy in Las Vegas. They have a great lounge right out front and lots of laughs inside.

Top Golf is a popular golf range chain that has created a modern golfing experience for all ages. The one at MGM Grand has three stories, pools, and more.

Losers Bar is a honky tonk from Nashville that offers a great country atmosphere and impressive live music.

My least favorite things are the parking garage, the lackluster complimentary drink options, and the overwhelming weekend crowds.

The parking garage at MGM Grand is a nightmare. While driving through it, you’re worried you’ll hit someone or be hit. You’re afraid someone will run you over when you walk from your car to the casino.

Drink service has declined over the past couple of years, and MGM Grand is no exception. The service overall is below average. My drink of choice is whiskey, and they only comp Jim Beam. So if you plan on drinking and gambling, MGM Grand is pretty tight.

I generally don’t mind large crowds. But when I saw The Black Keys perform at the Garden Arena, the pre-show crowds at MGM Grand were unsettling. Drunk people were sleeping on machines, and the restaurants were packed and uncomfortable.

At MGM Grand you get more than just a place to rest your head. The rooms at the MGM Grand Las Vegas are always comfortable and worth the price, no matter the room or suite you book. Upgrade standard rooms to a Stay Well room, which offers wellness technology like air purification, aromatherapy, Vitamin C shower head infusers, memory foam mattresses and more.

A suite at the MGM Grand Las Vegas is an iconic way to stay in Las Vegas. There is plenty of room in the suites to entertain groups of friends, get some work done, relax, or party the night away. Splurge on the Tower Spa Suite to enjoy your very own private oasis during your stay. Go for the SKYLOFTs if you’re craving the comforts of home right in your hotel room.

Guests staying at the MGM Grand Las Vegas get to enjoy the 6.5-acre pool complex – truly earning the name Grand Pool Complex. It’s one of the best pools in Las Vegas. This pool complex features four large pools, three whirlpools, waterfalls, and poolside amenities guaranteed to impress. Relax in the MGM Grand’s iconic Lazy River or order a refreshing cocktail to enjoy by one of the many pools on-site.

The cabanas are the MGM Grand’s pool complex are some of the best on The Strip. Cabanas can comfortably fit 8 people and come equipped with complimentary towel service, a flat-screen TV, and plenty of comfortable seating and lounge chairs.

MGM Grand has one of the largest spas on The Strip. The Grand Spa houses 30 treatment rooms where guests can customize massages, facials, and more to suit their needs and physical wellness goals. Sweat the stress of travel in the sauna or lets the jets of the whirlpool whisk you away into a state of total relaxation.

There are so many restaurants and bars inside MGM Grand that’s hard to keep track of them all. The resort has celebrity chefs, fine dining, casual restaurants, fast food, and more.

If you’re craving a formal night out for dinner and designer cocktails, make a reservation at Joël Robuchon. This three Michelin star restaurant specializes in French cuisine, design, and décor, as it’s set in a townhouse of Art Deco style color palettes and textiles. French cuisine embraces the simplicity of a dish to highlight the freshest ingredients. For a luxurious meal that tastes expensive, this is the place to be.

Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak is truly a cut above your traditional steakhouse. The fresh ingredients used at Tom Colicchio’s are all thanks to small family farms and day-boat fishermen that produce quality produce, meats, and seafood. Try their specialties like fresh salmon and veal with an expertly paired wine or bourbon.

Meet up with friends for warm Italian comfort foods and award-winning cocktails at Ambra Italian Kitchen + Bar. This bar and restaurant are incredibly inviting with its honey-colored bar that glows into the evening. Enjoy a handcrafted cocktail while listening to live jazz in Ambra’s lounge area. Ambra is a great option for a laid-back, sophisticated night out.

Created by the Iron Chef himself, Morimoto Las Vegas is known for its cutting-edge take on Japanese cuisine and style. Modernity and style meet tradition and history to create a truly unique dining experience the way Chef Morimoto intended. Enjoy tableside preparation of traditional dishes like Buri Bop, watch sushi come together before your eyes, and share the huge 54oz Tomahawk Ribeye steak. Experience Las Vegas in a new way at Morimoto.

L’Aterlier de Joël Robuchon and Hakkasan Restaurant are two more fine dining options with exquisite menus and decor.

There are tons of casual restaurants inside MGM Grand that will satisfy your cravings without breaking the bank.

Emeril Lagasse is back at it again with authentic New Orleans-style cooking at Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House. If you didn’t know, Emeril made a name for himself with his flavorful Creole-style specialties and his Fish House packs nothing but the flavor and innovative menu items. The gumbo and Creole seafood boil are to die for, not to mention the boozy Bread and Butter Bread Pudding for dessert.

Wolfgang Puck has reimagined the American bar and grill menu and repackaged it into something truly fantastic at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. The California-inspired menu inspires a casual and vibrant atmosphere, with colorful wood-fired pizzas and small bites to satisfy the table. You’ll also find fresh pasta and sirloin steaks sizzled to perfection. Needless to say, there’s something for everyone on the menu!

Crush is a social destination for elevated American cuisine. International Smoke is a restaurant chain founded by Ayesha Curry and Chef Michael Mina that serves fresh takes on world cuisine. At Nellie’s, guests can enjoy comfort food and Southern charm. Greek Sneek is a restaurant in the Morton family that serves Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.

Other options at MGM Grand include TAP Sports Bar, Avenue Cafe, Pieology, Cabana Grill, and Bonanno’s New York Pizzeria. The resort is also home to a Starbucks, Subway, and Food Court.

There are a couple of great bars at MGM Grand! If I’m not at the casino bar playing video poker, I’m probably at Centrifuge right outside of Hakasaan. The circular bar is a great spot to kick off your night. A few steps away is Level Up, a really fun sports bar with arcade games, beer pong, and live music on weekends.

Another place I enjoy is Losers Bar, it’s a great country bar with good live music in a laid-back atmosphere. Over in the district, you can hang out at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club Lounge. You don’t need a ticket to the show to enjoy cocktails and it’s a really neat spot.

I’m a whiskey drinker and Whiskey Down is a really cool spot with over 50 types of whiskey to choose from, plus great specialty cocktails. Finally, the Lobby Bar is a great spot to play some video poker or just lounge around.

There are four permanent shows at MGM Grand and the MGM Grand Garden Arena which hosts big sporting events, concerts, and more.

KA is a popular, adrenaline-pumping Cirque du Soleil show that tells the story of twin brothers on a journey to fulfill their destiny. The visually stunning acrobatics and fight scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It’s one of the best shows in Las Vegas. Read our KA review for more details.

The Jabbawockeez are a world-famous dance crew known for their white masks. Enjoy a set of pulse-pounding music and innovative choreography as the crew the stage at the MGM Grand Las Vegas! The family-friendly show is a cutting-edge experience. See our Jabbawockeez review for more details on the show.

David Copperfield is a world-renowned illusionist. His residency at MGM Grand has been one of Las Vegas’ landmark magic shows for many, many years. Copperfield’s illusions are bold and have wowed audiences for decades. Check out our David Copperfield review for more information about the show.

If you want a night of laughs, head to Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club. No matter what performance you decide to stop in, the comedians gracing the stage at Brad Garrett’s are masters of their crafts, whether they be established celebrities or up-and-coming comedians on the up and up. Read our Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club review for more information on the club.

Check the schedule for the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Chances are the 16,000-seat arena is hosting an event. The venue is known for hosting championship fights, sporting events, concerts, and events. I’ve seen Joe Rogan and The Black Keys at the Garden Arena and both were great experiences.

There are many reasons to stay at MGM Grand, but one of my favorites is the number of things to do. Whether you want to see a show, go to a club, or spend the day at the pool, there’s something for everyone.

Wet Public Ultra Pool is one of the hottest venues in Las Vegas for daytime clubbing. The 54,500 square foot venue features multiple pools in intimate and social settings where guests have access to exclusive bungalows and cabanas, as well as daybeds and banquets. For multiple years, Wet Republic Ultra Pool was voted best pool party in America and best DJ lineup. To this day, the hottest headliners head to Wet Republic to throw the party of the century.

What was once simply a restaurant experience, the London-based Asian fusion brand branched out into creating one of Las Vegas’ premier nightclubs, Hakkasan. Guests can witness music from across all genres at Hakkasan, from the world’s hottest DJs to pop stars to rappers and rock bands. Grab a drink and let the good times roll in all night long!

The Top Golf experience at the MGM Grand Las Vegas goes well beyond putting a few holes. Top Golf at the MGM Grand Las Vegas features multiple levels of entertainment: level one and two are family-friendly while levels three and four are a 21+ section with two pools, swim-up bars, a rooftop bar, and the hitting bays. It’s guaranteed that you’ve never experienced Top Golf quite like this before.

May the odds be ever in your favor as you work your way through The Hunger Games: The Exhibition! Based on the best-selling books and critically acclaimed movie adaptations, guests can interact with the exhibition to learn more about the world of Panem and its hero, Katniss Everdeen. Play trivia, practice your archery, and create your own Mockingjay song. See iconic costumes, set pieces, and more from the movies in this special exhibition only at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

I really enjoy gambling at MGM Grand. It’s a place where you can let loose and have fun in a high-energy atmosphere. There are endless ways to gamble here, from slots and video poker to table games and sports betting. You’ll find thousands of slot machines, a wide variety of table games, and a large poker room. MGM Grand also has a sportsbook, but it’s relatively small compared to its counterparts on The Strip.

It depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for an all-in-one resort experience with a casino, nightclubs, restaurants, shows, and more, then MGM Grand is a great option.

The MGM Grand is generally not budget-friendly. Average room rates fall between $69-$349 per night for a standard room. If you’re on a tight budget, your money doesn’t go far at MGM Grand. I would recommend considering Planet Hollywood or New York New York.

MGM Grand is a great resort for those who want to be in the action. With world-class dining, entertainment, and nightlife, there’s something for everyone at this massive property. It’s a high-energy resort with a lot to offer.

However, if you’re looking to slow down and have a luxury experience, there are better options. If that’s you, I would recommend looking into Aria or Wynn.
