Bottom Line

If you’re looking for an affordable resort in the heart of the action, Flamingo Las Vegas is a great option. With rooms starting at just $30/night, it’s one of the most affordable resorts on The Strip. Plus, there’s plenty to do here, from watching Piff the Magic Dragon to seeing X Burlesque.

The main downside to Flamingo Las Vegas is that food and drinks can be a bit on the expensive side. But, overall, it’s a great place to stay for budget-minded travelers looking for a fun and lively resort.

Flamingo Hotel Rooms & Suites

The Flamingo hotel is massive, with over 3,400 guest rooms and suites. It’s the oldest property on The Strip, built in the 1940s, but has modern flair and amenities. The majority of rooms were refreshed and remodeled over the last three years.

Room rates are as low as $30 per night before resort fees and taxes. The hotel is one of the best deals on The Strip, with an incredible location in the heart of the action.

The Flamingo Las Vegas is a classic hotel. Rooms have bright, sleek designs and decor in an array of accommodations. The hotel offers a wide variety of room choices, from Fab Rooms to Flamingo Rooms to Go Rooms, all have their unique pros and cons. The U-shaped hotel offers guests the choice between a Strip view, garden view, or High Roller view.

There are a lot of suites at Flamingo. From traditional executive and junior suites to bunk beds, your party will find what they’re looking for at an affordable price. Whether you’re looking for a little extra space with a 550-square-foot mini-suite or you want to stretch out in a luxurious 1400-square-foot penthouse, the hotel can take care of your needs.

The Flamingo offers a long list of great amenities, including two pools, electric vehicle charging, pet stay, a fitness center, self-check-in, and more.

Flamingo Las Vegas Pool

The pools at Flamingo are fantastic! The pools span over 15 acres in a lush tropical paradise setting next to the wildlife habitat.

The Go Pool is a lively pool party and day club with live DJs, games, and contests every day. The Go Pool is 21 and over only. Cabana rentals and complimentary lounge chairs are available (first come, first served).

The Beach Club offers guests a family-friendly environment in the lush habitat, where you can enjoy waterslides and cabanas. The pool provides free towel service to all visitors and has food and drinks available at the Beach Club Café.

Flamingo Las Vegas Restaurants & Bars

The resort is home to great restaurants and bars, including Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse, Carlos ‘N Charlies’, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Bird Bar, and more.

The Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse is a steak joint that transports you back in time to the golden era of Vegas. You walk through their front “bakery,” where it opens into an elegant dining room filled with diners enjoying fine cuts.

Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse is the destination for any steak lover. The wet and dry-aged steaks are a true delight. A speakeasy called The Count Room is tucked away in the back that serves cocktails in intimate surroundings.

Carlos ‘n Charlie’s is one of the best-hidden gems on The Strip. It is a family-friendly atmosphere during the day and packs an amazing dance party at night. You will be able to find some refreshing Mexican food as well!

As you step into the colorful and lively Carlos ‘n Charlie’s, it becomes immediately apparent that this is no ordinary Mexican restaurant. From a view overlooking Flamingo Las Vegas’ gardens to flair bartenders serving signature margaritas worth bragging about on Snapchat or Instagram (seriously), there are plenty of reasons why people keep coming back for more from their kitschy wall décor right down to expertly prepared cuisine with an authentic taste!

Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is the ultimate destination for all your tropical cravings. Whether you’re looking to indulge in some delicious island-inspired food or want a frozen concoction with an umbrella, this laid-back restaurant has it all!

The two outdoor patios offer plenty of seating and views, while the music from Jimmy Buffet’s playlist will keep that party going strong! The atmosphere is lively, the food tastes great–it’s just how Jimmy Buffet lives his life!

Bird Bar offers a raucous enviroment. The bar has beer pong, an outdoor patio, and a lively atmosphere. If you can’t make it for fifty-cent beers, the bar offers a great reverse happy hour and daily drink specials all day.

The Garden Bar offers a laid-back environment where you can casually enjoy the scenery while you sip on cocktails with a great view of the Flamingo lagoon and waterfalls.

Located in the center of all the casino action is Bugsy’s Bar, which has a vintage-style neon sign that evokes Old Vegas and serves cocktails, wine, and beer.

The resort also offers various fast-casual dining and cafes, including Cafe ExpressBonanno’s New York PizzariaJohnny RocketsPan Asian ExpressLA Subs & Salads, and Club Cappuccino.

Things To Do at Flamingo Las Vegas

Flamingo is one of the few resorts where guests can keep themselves entertained without leaving the property. If you do end up leaving, you’re across from Caesars Palace, the Forum Shops, and connected to The LINQ Promenade.

One of the most beautiful attractions in Las Vegas is the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. Free to hotel guests and the general public, the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is between the hotel towers. The habitat features various exotic birds, fish, turtles, and of course, flamingos.

The habitat is open daily from dawn to dusk. The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is excellent for families and tourists wanting to get away from the casino noise. Behind the habitat are various outdoor wedding venues, including the Garden Chapel, Gazebo, and Paradise Falls. A truly one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Las Vegas.

If you need a rejuvenating retreat from the chaos of The Strip, The Spa at Flamingo is the best place to get pampered and take care of yourself. Services range from massages, facials, body treatments, salon services, and more. You will find something that fits your needs perfectly. Give yourself a much-needed break with one of their many packages.

Just outside the north door is The LINQ Promenade. The promenade is full of shops, restaurants, and activities, including the High Roller and Fly LINQ. You can dance the night away and ride the mechanical bull at Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar

Put on a parka in the desert heat and drink a cocktail at Icebar, made from 100 tons of ice. Get delicious fish and chips from Gordan Ramsay Fish & Chips. Catch live stand-up comedy at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club or watch live music at Brooklyn Bowl.
