The Sahara Las Vegas is a hotel located on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.
Pros
Cons
The Sahara feels intimate with its boutique-styled lounges and restaurants. This hotel really sits at the crossroads of traditional Las Vegas glamour with a touch of sophistication. It’s really easy to get around the area where the hotel sits and visit other resorts and casinos, but everything you could need throughout your stay is right at the Sahara Las Vegas. More than a place to rest your head at night, the Sahara offers iconic shows like Magic Mike and chic lounges like The Casbar Lounge, all making for a memorable stay.
The Sahara Hotel Las Vegas is an affordable hotel option that sits on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip. Sahara Las Vegas is equipped with its own monorail station, which can get you up and down the Strip effortlessly, with trains arriving every 4-8 minutes at one of the monorails 7 locations, one being right at the Sahara. The hotel is also perfectly situated next to Las Vegas Festival Grounds, making it an excellent option for festival-goers looking to stay the night.
The Sahara Las Vegas features three towers: Alexandria, Marra, and Blanca. The Marra and Blanca Towers have standard rooms with basic amenities such as mini-fridges, armoire closets, and compact workspaces available in each room. The Blanca Tower was recently renovated and has 196, 300 square foot rooms now available, and has a nostalgic sense of style (a nod to old Vegas, if you will). The Marra Tower hosts over 1,000 rooms and feels a bit more elevated and urban than the nostalgic Blanca Tower. The Alexandria Tower is where things get interesting – the décor in the Alexandria rooms feels chic with a touch of royalty. Standard rooms in the Alexandria Tower are 490 square feet and feature oversized bathrooms, plush banquettes, and expansive workspaces.
Suites at the Sahara all feature essentially the same amenities: enough space for living and entertaining, upgraded bedding for maximum comfort, dining room sets, oversized bathrooms with quality bath products, and so much more. The themes of all three towers are appealing and comfortable, so you can’t go wrong no matter which room or suite you choose!
The biggest water-based attraction at the Sahara is its Azilo Ultra Pool. Azilo offers an intimate poolside experience that whisks guests away into the dunes of Morocco. The alluring atmosphere is what makes this pool more than a pool; it’s truly an experience. Lush greens surround daybeds and cabanas while the sultry and relaxing sounds of Morocco elevate your experience. This is a 21+ experience, but if you have kids there are plenty of other pool options at the Sahara Las Vegas.
The Sahara also features two rooftop pools, the Alexandria and Retro pools. While the Alexandria pool is a 21+ option, the Retro pool is open to all ages! Both pools offer excellent views of the Las Vegas mountain range and the sparkling lights of downtown Las Vegas. These pools feel private as they are situated high above the Strip and are great places to relax and soak up the Las Vegas sun.
