The Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas is an iconic casino on the Las Vegas Strip. With its castle-themed exterior, it stands out among the other hotels in the area. The hotel offers a variety of rooms and suites, ranging from standard rooms to nice suites.
During the week, you can book a standard room for under $29 (plus taxes and resort fees). On the weekends, rates jump up quite a bit, but you should be able to book a room for under $150 on a typical weekend.
Amenities
The Excalibur Las Vegas hotel pool is an excellent option if you’re looking for a place to cool off in the Nevada desert heat. With four pools, cabanas, and a water slide, there’s something for everyone.

Royal Tower vs. Resort Tower
Excalibur has two towers–the Royal Tower and the Resort Tower. As you can see on the Excalibur Map below, the towers are on opposite sides of the resort.
Which Excalibur Tower should you choose?
If you’re planning to explore Las Vegas, stay in the Royal Tower. It’s close to the rideshare pick up area and will make coming and going a little easier. The Royal Tower is located on the south side of the property and has larger rooms with more amenities.
If you plan on being at the pool, the Resort Tower is your best option. You’ll have quick access to Excalibur’s four pools, spa, and fitness centers. The Resort Tower is located on the north side of the property and has smaller rooms with older amenities.
You’ll find that all of Excalibur’s rooms are well-appointed, no matter which tower you choose. Guests can also enjoy access to an outdoor pool area with cabanas, daybeds, and a fitness center.

For those looking for more traditional gaming options, plenty of table games are available, including blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, and more.
The sportsbook was remodeled in 2022, but it’s still a standard setup. You can bet on all your favorite sports, from football and baseball to basketball and golf.
Bars & Nightlife
Regarding nightlife and bars at Excalibur Hotel & Casino, it leaves something to be desired.
Several bars are located throughout the hotel, including The Lounge, which features live music five nights a week with a full bar menu with signature cocktails.
The Lobby Bar is also a great spot to grab a drink before heading out for the evening or relax and play video poker. Another video poker bar is The Sherwood.
There are no nightclubs or upscale lounges at Excalibur. For that, you will have to leave the property.

A short walk to New York New York, you can enjoy Coyote Ugly. Across one more bridge is MGM Grand, which is home to the popular nightclub, Hakkasan.
You can take a free tram ride to Mandalay Bay to enjoy a couple of great nightclubs and lounges, including the Foundation Room and Skyfall Lounge.

The only attraction at Excalibur is the Fun Dungeon Arcade, which is excellent for kids of all ages.
It features over 200 of the latest video and arcade games, plus a few classics like skee ball and Pac-Man. The Fun Dungeon also offers midway games and other activities to entertain your little ones.
