Excalibur Las Vegas Review: Budget-Friendly Resort on The Strip

Editor’s Rating: 2.9/5

  • It’s an old property
  • Lots of kids

I think Excalibur is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget and traveling with a family. It’s in a great location – more towards the south end of The Strip. It’s also really easy to get around to other places from there there’s a free tram that goes to Mandalay Bay and Luxor, and there are bridges that connect you to Tropicana, New York New York, and MGM Grand.

I will say that it’s a little bit run-down and could use some updating/renovations, but overall it’s a decent place to stay if you’re looking for something affordable.

When traveling to Las Vegas, there are countless hotel options to choose from that will fit any budget. However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option that won’t break the bank, the Excalibur Resort & Casino is a great choice. With two towers – the Resort Tower and the Royal Tower – there’s something for everyone.

The Excalibur Resort is a great choice for budget-minded families as it offers comfortable accommodations at an affordable price. The rooms are large and spacious with soft, comfortable beds – perfect for getting a good night’s rest after a long day of exploring all that Las Vegas has to offer. The bathrooms are also spacious and feature a large shower, although the toilet is very low to the floor.

The hotel room is definitely dated and shows its age, but this is to be expected given its budget-friendly price point. However, if you’re looking for top-of-the-line accommodations, you may want to consider another hotel.

All in all, the Excalibur Resort & Casino is a great choice for families or groups traveling on a budget. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Las Vegas. While the hotel room does show its age, it’s to be expected given its price point. So if you’re looking for an affordable option that won’t break the bank, the Excalibur should definitely be at the top of your list!

If you’re looking for a place to cool off in the Nevada desert heat, the Excalibur Las Veags hotel pool is a great option. With four pools, cabanas, and a water slide, there’s something for everyone.

The Excalibur pool area is gorgeous and ample. There’s plenty of space for people to sit and lounge, with plenty of umbrellas and palm trees for shade. The resort has four pools in total—a main pool, a kiddie pool, a hot tub, and a lap pool—so there’s something for everyone. Guests can reserve lounge chairs and cabanas surrounding the pool in advance.

Cabanas come with towel service, complimentary snacks, and more. If you’re looking to relax in style, cabanas are definitely the way to go. However, they are on the pricier side for a couple hundred dollars per day. Overall, the pool area is nice with lots of space for people to sit and lounge.

One of the most popular features at the Excalibur hotel pool is the water slide. The slide winds its way down through twists and turns before dumping riders into the pool. The line for the slide can get pretty long, so if you’re looking to ride it multiple times, you might want to get there early.

The Excalibur Las Vegas hotel pool is a great option if you’re looking to cool off in the desert heat. With four pools, cabanas, and a water slide, there’s something for everyone. The pool area is nicely landscaped, with plenty of space to sit and lounge. Cabanas are available for an additional fee and come with towel service and complimentary snacks. The water slide is also a popular feature but can get crowded, so be sure to get there early if you’re looking to ride it multiple times!

If you’re staying at the Excalibur hotel, then you’re in luck! There are plenty of dining options available, ranging from casual to fine dining.

Camelot Steakhouse is a great option if you’re looking for fresh, delicious steak. Prices are on the higher end, but the quality of the food is worth it. Dick’s Last Resort is perfect if you’re looking for a rowdy, wild experience. It’s not suitable for children, but if you’re looking to let loose and have a good time, this is the place for you.

Buca di Beppo is an Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming environment. The prices are reasonable, and the food is great. Vagabond at Excalibur is a sports pub where you can catch up with your friends and cheer on your favorite teams.

And finally, there’s a food court with Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, and Popeyes. So whatever you’re in the mood for, you’re sure to find it at Excalibur!

The Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas offers a wide variety of live shows, from medieval jousting to comedy magic to disco tribute. Whether you’re looking for family-friendly entertainment or a girls’ night out, there’s a show for you at the Excalibur.

Are you looking for dinner and a show that works for the entire family? The Tournament of Kings (read our review) is a classic show at the Excalibur Resort & Casino that is family-friendly and a whole lot of fun. Taking place in a 900 seat round arena, Tournament of Kings re-tells the story of King Arthur and takes it to the next level with showstopping pyrotechnics and knights jousting for their honor. Hearty meals are served during this show, and guests eat said meals with their hands (a.k.a the original utensils).

Magic and laughs, what more could you want? Mac King’s Comedy Magic Show is one of the most beloved comedy magic shows in the world, and he has a show right at the Excalibur Las Vegas. With the help of his pet guinea pig “Colonel Sanders,” Mac puts on shows that are ever-changing and always entertaining. Mac performs one of the best family-friendly magic shows. To see Mac become completely invisible, make his head disappear into a paper bag, and render objects (or animals) out of thin air, check out Mac King’s Comedy Magic Show.

You know them, you love them: the Bee Gees. The Australian Bee Gees Show is a tribute to the iconic disco group, the Bee Gees! This multimedia event brings the music of the Bee Gees to life right at the Excalibur Resort & Casino. Jam out to the hits of Saturday Night Fever like “Staying Alive,” “Jive Talkin’,” and more.

Ladies (and gentlemen), this one is for you. Excalibur is host to one of Las Vegas’ hottest shows, Thunder From Down Under. Australia’s hottest men grace the stage to show off their physiques and give the audience seductive dance routines and cheeky charm.

It’s the perfect show for Bachelorette parties or just a girls’ night out with some spice! Imagine Magic Mike, but Australian and way more raunchy – that is the essence of Thunder from Down Under.
